Local artist Peggy Abrams created a painting of a photo taken in 1942 in the Lovegrove 5 & 10 cent store.  The Store was located adjacent to and west of Fortino's Market.  It depicted Santa Claus with Marie Lovegrove handing out candy canes. The painting was donated to the Historical Society to raffle during Hometown Days.
